It was a busy week for the team with 11 horses out competing. Rathsallagh Monbeg and Magherard Candy finished second and fourth in a BE100, both finishing on their dressage scores with Gio, while at novice level Monbeg Rhodes had one show jump down to sit just outside the top 10.
Kathryn piloted Parkplace Cedar to a dressage score completion and eighth place in a BE100, also riding Mickleholme Calado in the novice, with one rail down.
It was then up north to Frickley so the older horses could have a prep run for next week’s Carlow horse trials. Cloud K, Florencina and Headley’s Deluxe all jumped steady double clears in the open intermediate, Billy Hennessy just having one rail down showjumping.
