There was another win for Gio at Moreton Morrell, this time on board Alvescot Flash The Cash in a BE90Open section – the six-year-old finished on his 25.3 dressage score.
Kimbal was also in the ribbons, sixth in a BE100 having added just 0.8 of a cross country time penalty to his 24.8 first phase score.
A smattering of show jumping and cross country time penalties kept Redbarn Cool Striker (BE100) and KMR Finasco (novice) out of their respective top 10s, but it was Gio’s first outing with the latter who is normally competed by Chloe Vestey.
