It was a quick turn around after Blenheim. We took Bee, Cooley and Saetta to Ballindenisk; Bee for the CIC***, Cooley for the CIC** and Saetta for the CCI*, his first international event.
Saetta was amazing all week and I’m shocked with how much he has improved in the last few weeks. He did a lovely test to score 40, putting us in 4th place after the dressage. He then flew around the XC inside the time, and had 2 unlucky fences in the show jumping. We finished 5th in a really competitive class. I’m sure he is a star for the future!
Bee and Kathryn did a really nice test to score a 48, but had a really unusual run out across country, over a corner on top of the water that the horses were not reading very well. Luckily they jumped a classy round SJ! We were pleased with him and now the next stop for him will be Pau CCI****
Cooley was competing in his second CIC** and he scored an amazing 43 to put him in second place after the dressage. He jumped, like he normally does, a lovely clear cross country round to add a few time faults to his score and then rolled a couple of rails show jumping. He is only a 7yrs old and we are positive he will be at the top of the sport in a few years.
