Headley’s Deluxe (pictured last season) was an intermediate winner for Gio at Farley Hall. The stallion added just 1.6 cross country time penalties to his first phase score to finish with over a fence in hand.
Gio was also having a first competitive outing with Billy Hennessy, the pair finishing 10th in the open intermediate.
At BE100 level Great Victory was out of the ribbons after an expensive showjumping round (clear across country) but Alvescot Flash The Cash’s dressage score completion gave him a rosette at the same level.
Meanwhile Kathryn picked up a BE100 seventh place finish on Duke of Bree Boeken and Cloud K was just out of the top 10 in the advanced intermediate.
